Royal Wedding: Procession and Ballet
The elision of tech and arms dealership, set as a wedding between two robot devices.
Conceived with electronic musician Rohan Chander and directed by the theater collective Het Geluid, Hearne’s Royal Wedding: Procession and Ballet reconfigures advertisements from weapons manufactures and AI software development companies, into a public performance and fantasia, for a choral ensemble, 4 instrumentalists, and a septet of audiating kinetic sculptures. The sculptures were designed by Parker Heyl and Mac Van Dam and premiered with Hearne’s composition at the 2024 Münchener Biennale.
